Who is responsible

Bestanden is operated by Faruk Abaz. Contact: see the support address in the app store listing.

What we collect

• A random device ID created by the app. We do not ask for your name, e-mail or phone number to use the free version.
• Your settings: explanation language, exam, exam date (optional).
• The texts you submit for checking and the feedback you receive, so you can see your history.
• Basic usage events (for example "opened", "text checked") to improve the app. No advertising trackers, no selling of data.
• If you subscribe, the app store (Google Play or Apple) handles the payment; we only receive whether your subscription is active.

How texts are checked

To give feedback, your text and the task are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude API), which processes them on our behalf and does not use them to train its models. Do not put personal data (real names, addresses) into practice texts.

How long we keep data

As long as you use the app. You can delete everything at any time under Settings → "Delete my data"; it is removed immediately. Inactive data is deleted after 24 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data and to object to processing (GDPR Articles 15–21). Contact us at the address above. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The app is for exam candidates aged 16 and over and is not directed at children.
